How It Works . . .

When a customer calls your after hours number,the system plays the caller your custom message informing them they are about to be placed on hold and connected to the first available responder.

On Call’s System now calls your first responder

Our system will get YOUR CUSTOMER into a conversation with YOUR PEOPLE!

Contacting the Responders

Now that the customer is on hold, the system begins calling the phone numbers specified in the account setup.

System calls the first Responder’s number

If no response, the System repeats the call the number of times specified (1 to 5)

If the call has not been answered yet, the System calls the 2nd Responder’s number

If no response, the System repeats the call the number of times specified (1 to 5)

If the call has not been answered yet, the System calls the 3rd Responder’s number

If no response, the System repeats the call the number of times specified (1 to 5)

If no response from the 3rd Responder, the System then sends the call to voice mail. (This 3rd Responder is often the boss)

Please note: It is rare that all 3 Responders would miss these calls.

And, it is VERY EASY to change Responders on our web interface.

Responders

When a responder answers a call, they are informed by the system that they have a customer on hold, and are prompted to press 1 to accept the call. This gives the opportunity to pull over if driving, or find a quiet place to speak to the caller.

Once they press 1 they are live with the caller. If they do not enter 1 the system calls the next responder. This also eliminates calls going to voicemail.
